Retreat Master Monsignor Charles Mangan, a priest of the Diocese of Sioux Falls. He studied Canon Law and Mariology in Rome. Monsignor Mangan worked in the Vatican Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life for nearly eight years, having served under Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI. Monsignor Mangan was commissioned by Pope Francis as a “Missionary of Mercy” during the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy.
The focus of the conference is primarily the Peregrinatio Pro Cristo, Door to Door Evangelization to distant places as stated in the legion handbook, Chapter 40, Go Preach the Gospel, #8. We will hear a legionary testimony from each of our recent travels to Tivoli, Texas, Chalmette, Louisiana, and Gallup, New Mexico. The Senatus is blessed to have Fr. Hugh Gillespie as our guest speaker.
